Welcome & Announcement

Call to Worship:

In love and joy God calls us together. And so we meet this day, as friends, as neighbors, as sisters and brothers. Called together by God, we bring our offerings to God:Our songs, our hearts, our prayers, our lives.Grateful for this opportunity to give and receive, let us worship God.

Prayer of Invocation

First Sacred Reading:      Philippians 4:6-7

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Passing of the Peace

Sharing of Our Joys & Concerns

Prayers of the People/Pastoral Prayer

Offering & Doxology:    We Give You But Your Own – NCH 785

We give you but your own, what e'er the gift may be; All that we have is yours alone, we give it gratefully

Second Sacred Reading:     Dao De Jing  52

In the beginning was the Tao. All things issue from it; all things return to it. To find the origin, trace back the manifestations. When you recognize the childrenand find the mother, you will be free of sorrow. If you close your mind in judgements and traffic with desires, your heart will be troubled. If you keep your mind from judging and aren’t led by the senses, your heart will find peace. Seeing into darkness is clarity. Knowing how to yield is strength. Use your own light and return to the source of light. This is called practicing eternity.

Hymn of Reflection:   O Lord, Hear My Prayer

Sermon:   Do not worry about ANYTHING !

Service of Communion:

God is with you

And also with you

Let us open our hearts

Let us open them to God

Let us give God thanks and praise

It is a good and joyful thing to do

Closing Hymn:    Let Us Break Bread Together    NCH 330

Benediction:                           Rev. Dr. Boon Lin Ngeo
