In this scripture, John describes a relationship between Jesus and God that was deemed spiritually significant in the 1st century and I believe continues to be spiritually important to humankind in the 21st century. In this time of increased negativity, this biblical text can convey aspects of positivity as a response. Join us at ASBC on June 1, 2025, as we open up LGBTQIA month in the gospel of John. (V.H).”
